The voice of the Lord is calling out For the church to take her rightful place To stand as watchmen on the walls And be defenders of the gates. The voice of the Lord is calling out For intercession, prayer and fasting Will we hear and heed the call Or will we just keep napping. The voice of the Lord is calling out To those who have ears to hear For the Spirit of God will release His anointing Upon those who are free from all fear. The voice of the Lord is calling out For the people of God to stand Like David, Deborah and the Apostle Paul To win all the battles at hand. The voice of the Lord is calling out For the church to come up higher To lay aside all earthly things And love their Justifier. The voice of the Lord is calling out May we hear, trust and obey For the Gospel message must go forth So that all men might be saved
