| Then I Turned to Jesus by Shirley McNeilly |
|
For one day I found I could not go on, I hated My life it was useless and blown. Tears streaming down my face, I fell to my Knees and cried out to God, "if you're there hear me please. I hate this life that I'm forced to live, the way Others treat me, the resentment I feel. Why not let me die, no one cares for me, And everything that I've tried has Brought more misery. This life that I'm living, and this pain I can't Take, and even my birth, was all A mistake. I was told Lord, you were my Answer, so I am Asking to see, if you're really here, and if You will help me. So God here's my hand, my heart and my soul, And if you don't want me, I'll have no- where to go. Jesus, I have nothing to offer to you, but my sins, Dread, and fears, and if you want me to, Lord here's my life, I give to it to you." The tears I cried was dried from my face, and my Lord whispered and said "You're Saved by my Grace." Your praise I'll sing, and of your love I will Tell, to let others know you'll Save them as well.. My love , life, and service I give to my Lord, until He calls me home to be With Him evermore. |
