More than 1500 years passed
Before the Bible was completed.
It was "God-breathed," words by Him,
Given because He knew it was needed.

Its like a seed
That lays there, you know.
We have to open it and read it
In order to make it grow.

And when we open it,
And turn through it pages,
We touch the Holy Word of God
That's been passed down through the ages.

As we become acquainted
With this God-Inspired Word,
It touches our moment's need
Which makes it living,
Our needs were over-heard.

The Bible is the law,
The only book that's perfect.
We need to read it daily-learn it
For eternal life to come and call.

Our growth reveals
How well we know our guide.
His wisdom, our transformation,
Will eliminate our pride.

In His image, is what He wills for us.
His Word, His Foundation,
His Love without a fuss.

The Word
is The Book of God's Grace.
It revives souls and changes lives.
It is sacred, more precious than lace;
The finest tool available
To help us reach our highs.

The Bible matures the reader
Like a garden watered each day.
It frames the standard of perfection
When we study, learn, and pray.

So many things, the Bible;
God's way of revealing Himself to man.
So many things, the Bible;
God's way of showing He cares more than anyone can.

It is the map to heaven,
To daily travel through;
The Dove that sends us peace,
Peace for me and for you.

It provides Salvation
That Jesus wants for everyone.
It can bring the lost to faith
If we believe in God's Son.
