When God made Manby Shirley McNeilly |

More than just breath did God put in man He was made in His image and given His plan, To create and build and walk in His way, To take care of this garden and all God hath made. Then Satan appeared and told his great lie, Man could walk in his own way, and not surely die. Sin looked too good, man listened too long. Believed what the Devil said couldn't be wrong. The Lord cursed the land and the garden was closed, But God had a plan for all things He knows, From the beginning God knew that man would sin, For there is not anything hidden from Him. Now this beautiful garden sits alone on this hill, Waiting for God's plans to all be fulfilled. For all men are not lost, and Satan's not won, For God paid for man's sins by the Blood of His Son. Now the gardens still there, and it's beauty abounds, God's plans only hindered, not turned around, For what God started, no Devil can change, The words He hath spoken are not Spoken in vain. |
