| The Whisper of the Wind Jonathon Vann |
|
The wind creates waves as it billows through the dew dampened grass, The trees bow and bend in the breeze of a summer night, The waves crash on the golden shore as the wind blows from the endless blue, The children sleep under the comfort of the whispering wind. Wolves howl, Birds sing. Water applauds, Plains hiss. The whisper of the wind is calling out your name. Life is enjoyed by the wind, And death is mourned in the gusts. The whisper of the wind is calling out your name. You are relaxed by the smooth whisper, And frightened by the eerie howls. You answer to the whispering of the wind, And a world of enlightenment and wonder, Is opened to your mind. |
