| MY BOOK OF ANSWERED PRAYER |
|
In my heart I keep A little book of answered prayer; For friends and family, And people every where. Some, I sought the Lord for healing, Some for money that they need, Some for ailing marriages and Some to be delivered from greed ... Prayer for little children That suffer from abuse, so sad, Some for wayward teens And some with out a dad. Some possessed by demons That walk the streets of deepest sin, Some that need a special touch For strength to begin again ... For mothers that left hearth and home Because they were badly treated, For some quite despondent and Many completely defeated. Some, rendered homeless and Many in service, away from home. For, many that are grieving for many, now, left alone. As I search through my book, Kept in heart and mind, Not one unanswered ~ Not one of any kind. Many answered with, "Yes, my child," Others firmly, "No. 'Tis best others the answer Wait awhile, before I can bless." In my heart's prayer list, Of who needs what touch from Him, If the answer seemed not to come ~ We Just pray, again. He will always, give an answer. Some will bring tears and some a smile. But, some, the answer came, "My child, you must wait awhile." |
