| The Days Of My Time |
|
The days of my time have, Somewhat, dimmed my eyes. But, I need only what my God Shows me. For, He supplies. The days of my time have, Somewhat, taken my ability to hear. But, I hear through the Spirit of God As He lingers near. The days of my time have Taken my ability to walk, with out pain. But, the heavenly Father tells me, When I get home to heaven, I will walk, again. The days of my time have Taken health and vitality. I hear the promise of my Lord. All will be renewed, When you reach home - and Me. The days of my time have seen The parting of loved ones, sad good-byes. But, my Father said, in their faith, They wait beyond the earthly skies. The days of my time Are surrendered to His will. For, God has them all counted; As my daily walk, with Him, I now fill. When the days of my life, In heaven, have just begun - I will run to His arms and see His blessed face. I pray ~ I will hear, "Welcome home, my child. Well done." Sometimes, we get discouraged When the battles rage within our soul And our bodies cry out, from pain. It is then that I want to hear, From the Lord, How Heaven will be. It makes it all seem worth while. |
