| In The Morning |
|
In the morning, When I awake, I pray; Realizing that it is The beginning of my day. In the morning, I thank God for my blessings; My family, my friends, And all my possessions. I, often, look around and see All that He has given me; All the comforts of home, The birds that sing in the tree. In the morning, I ask God What He would have me do, today. Sometimes, I have this strange Feeling to go; not to stay ... Go visit the lady that Is in the nursing home, The neighbour that is In her home all alone. In the morning, He tells me What my duties are. He knows He can depend on me. He never sends me far. I must go, in the morning, When the time is right - To share His love. That will Make their day bright. I will go, now, since His voice was so real. Tomorrow morning may not come. So, I must not stand still. |
