| Just Today |
|
Just today, I was reminded of your love for me. I realized it was Spring. There were the birds and the bees. Looking very closely, I could see the budding of the trees. My eyes are fading and things seem a little dim. I know there are daffodils and the trees will need a trim. Just today, I know that I can see the colors there. I can, still, clean the house and wash my hair. Just today, I will not take things for granted. There may come a day that I cannot see what is planted. Just today, my joints are working and I can walk around; Will not complain about feeling down. Just today, I know that I am so blessed. Therefore, I will hold my head high, Will leave my burdens at Your feet, and rest. |
