First Kiss

by

Joseph A. Jiblets

On this great day, when the temperature was barely reaching freezing, and the sky was getting dark, two teens, who were madly in love, finally got a chance to have a night out on the town. The stars were just starting to shine through the clearing clouds, and the wind began to have a steady blow to it. Jimmy, one of the teens, was getting ready to pick Wendy, his date, up at her house for a lovely night out. He got dressed as he normally does: a nice clean, crisp white shirt, with a little bling bling added to each of his hands, and bottomed out with a nice pair of black pants and dazzling dress shoes.

Jimmy walked out of his door at 10 o'clock, and climbed into his mustang. When he arrived at Wendy's house it was lit as though it was on fire. The door opened at the beep of his horn, and in it stood a heavenly girl. She is wearing black velvet pants, heels that would poke someone's eye out, a hot pink sweater that sagged over one shoulder, and topped out with a gorgeous necklace. She climbed into the car, and give Jimmy a delightful look. Both had sparks in their eyes as Jimmy drove off toward the city.

There was no discussion to what would happen next. Both knew that they had lied to their parents about going into town, and both knew exactly where they were going. Jimmy had just made a left at the old cross roads, onto a road that headed up to Lucky Hill. After about five minutes of driving they had finally gotten there. Two cars sat to their right, one to their left and one behind them. This was a very popular place, and they knew why.

After a talk about their days, Jimmy leaned in and felt Wendy's lips on his. They both jumped at the sparks that flew, but did not stop. The windows started to fog and the stars began to shine even brighter. For it was this kiss, that would seal the rest of there lives as lovers. It was their first kiss.
