HOW I RAN AWAY FROM FEAR AND WORRY IN DAR ES SALAAM by Patrick Nombo |
| Five years ago I was a young boy, I need many things: |
| I need to get on with school but I didn't have money to pay for my school fee, I went to meet with the Headmaster, he told me to that I by the end of term I would not be able to start the next term if I didn't get money, I tried and tried but I didn't get money, life was difficult I left the school. |
| I kept looking for two years, nothing, my personal confidence were change slowly: what is my future!? |
| What next I decide to introduce kiosk to do business there the kiosk was slashed away by City solders and every thing stolen and from there my head was not working again, I didn't know what to do, I feared I couldn't succeed for anything, I feel as a weak boy I couldn't go any where and succeed. I worried even to go to ask for a work anywhere else. Fear penetrated into my life and I believed that is impossible to me to get work or succeed for anything I planed and I thought may be there is a witch man in my life. I couldn't believe anybody. |
| One day a friend came and invited me to the church and asked if I was Christian, I told him no, he ask if I wanted to become one, I told him I will think first. But my heart was heavy, later I called my friend and we talked and prayed together and I made my best decision of my whole life. |
| Now as a Christian is full of hope, happiness, love and the light of Christ and everything that I plan I bring it to God in pray and I succeed. I now know we can't escape fear by ourselves but except through Jesus Christ. |
