God is a Master of originals, not fakes God is an artist in everything He makes. He chooses the right colors and draws the perfect lines. The picture is done in his own time. Masterpieces are never completed overnight. But when the Master is done, it's always done right. So, I imagined a man-made gallery, you see, And I wondered just how the portrait would be. I saw this one portrait that really caught my eye. It was a happy family with tears in their eyes. So, I studied a little further and I began to see. The family in the portrait was much like me. So I looked again in the middle of the tears. I could see pain and disappointment mixed with fear. The more I looked at the portrait I could see cracks in the paint. The picture that was so clear was becoming more faint. It was almost that the image had began to fade. I guess before they painted it the foundation wasn't laid. And the artwork that I thought was so well done. Had a family of ____ and was missing the main one. And the last thing that caught my eye. Was the signature in the corner was signed by I. And underneath that a little hard to see. But the last name was signed by me. Hanging across the hall was a remake. So the first one I saw, I guess was a fake. The same family, but the sky was blue. The happiness was real and the smiles were true. The name was different but the number was the same. But the family was proud and it had no shame. I looked into their eyes searching for the tears. Every part of each face was perfect and clear. How can two walk together unless they agree. When I looked into the portrait that's what I could see. The paint was smooth and the colors were bright. Everything in the portrait was perfect and right. See, He painted on the canvas which was the Word of the Lord. For that can't go out and come back void. See, the Master's hand was how it was made. So, no matter what the weather, this portrait can't fade. Telling the real one from the fake wasn't hard. For the signature in the corner was signed by God.
