"When a man finds a wife he finds a good thing and he finds favor in the eyes of God." I refer to the women in the following poem as a glass for they are delicate and easy to break, crack or damage. When God speaks of the woman being the weaker vessel I associate that with a women as a glass and a man as a mug.
The house of glass is a store the owner is Jesus and it is full of glasses and on every shelf there is a sign that says, "DO NOT TOUCH"

| When he walked into the house of glass all he could do was sigh. It was so beautiful the way it sparkles yet only one caught his eye. He had not been in the store for two minutes and said" I'm done." I know what I need and this is the right one. The glass was beautiful with all those cut designs. Then the man next to him said, " you better take some more time." Look over here and there's a big one over there. Yeah but a bigger glass will need more care. All right well here a small glass for you. If I get that glass then I'll need two. Sir I don't mean any harm but I know what is mine. When you see the right one it doesn't take so much time. Then I heard the owner say are you ready to purchase young man. Then come to this counter and take my hand. Now a glass is a very easy thing to break. So you need to make sure this is not a mistake. You have to know in your heart and for yourself. For like the sign says do not touch the glass on the shelf. He said now it is time to pray. Then listen to what she has to say. Why do you want a woman like me. I'm broken and cracked can't you see. I'm a glass that you just cant use any kind of way. Some times I feel I should be just thrown away. You can see right threw me nothing can hide. And I can't seem to keep much inside. I believe I will take more care than you think. No dish washer you'll have to wash me in the sink. I can't take the water to cold or to hot. For I have a lot of real delicate spots. I can't take the everyday wear and tear. You have to use extra love and care. After you wash me you always have to dry. For the water is like a tear from my eye. See to much water will make the glue come undone. So you need to be sure that I am the right one. Then the owner interrupted to say. Together I want you both to pray. You will only be allowed to drink from one glass. So make sure the one you choose with your use will last. I'm only telling you this for your own concern. For once you purchase you can not RETURN. |
