| A Song Of Praise |
|
Let's sing a song of praise and glory; Tell everyone the Savior's story About how He lived and how He died, When His own people had Him crucified. He was born in a manger, laden with hay, (In the small town of Bethlehem, so far away) To a carpenter named Joseph and, Mary, his wife; Who bore this Little King and gave to Him life. As He grew older, He taught God's word. Throughout Canaan land, His sweet voice was heard. He healed the sick and raised the dead While thousands got their spirits fed. But in the end, He had to die As a sacrifice for you and I, And, in three days, He rose again. He'd paid the full ransom for our sins. Our Lord of Lord's and King of Kings; Everlasting life is what He brings. Let's spread His word, in rhyme and song, So the whole wide world can sing along. |
