| Another Sad Goodbye |
|
The waves are crashing to the shore. We're here to say "goodbye", once more. You softly kiss me and I cry. Here comes another sad "goodbye". My heart beats just like the thunder. But, the waves disguise the sound And, as you wave "goodbye", I wonder When you'll be coming back around. My body trembles. Now, I'm shaking. My poor heart, you know, is breaking. But, you're too far away to see That your "goodbye" is killing me. Sweetheart, you know I'll let you go. Though, my heart's begging you to stay. I'll keep you in my heart and soul And, for your safe return, I'll pray. |
