| Everlasting Life |
|
Jesus hung between two thieves, Up there, on Calvary; One asking His forgiveness, saying, "Please remember me." The Lord was weak and weary From the piercing in His side. But, He said to him, "This day, You'll be with me in Paradise." He said, "Father, please forgive them, For they know not what they do," As the blood drained from His body With the pain they put Him through. He loved us more than life itself. With our Forgiveness, He supplied. His blood flowed like a river As His own needs were denied. Even through His pain and suffering, He thought we were worth the price. So, He gave us more than we bargained for. He gave us 'Everlasting Life'. |
