| Here, In My Heart |
|
I remember a time, It seems so long ago, When you held me close And we loved each other so. Then, somehow, through the years, We drifted apart. But, I want you To know that I saved a place for you, Here In My Heart. There's a place inside my heart Where time stands still And the memories of your love Are, Oh, so real. So, when I need to feel your touch, I just open up that part. Then, I feel your love surround me, Here In My Heart. Deep within my heart, There's a secret hiding place Where your memories still alive And time cannot erase ... The tenderness we shared, Right from the start. I'll keep it forever, safely, locked away, Here In My Heart. |
