| He's The Captain |
|
Jesus is at the helm of my ship. He's the Captain of my soul. He calms these raging storms of life, When they toss me to and fro. He sails me past rough waters, Until the sea is calm again. I can count on him to rescue me. He's my confidant and friend. This ship's set sail for heaven. The Captain yells out, "All Aboard!" We're sailing where we'll reign forever, In the harbour of the Lord. There won't be any tidal waves, For the Captain calms the seas, And, when we all reach Heaven's portals, Then we've reached our destiny. So, come on, friend, and climb aboard This Everlasting Boat. Don't you worry that our ship will sink, Because The Lord keeps us afloat. Now, we'll all have Eternal Life, When our ship docks on His shore. There will be no pain and sorrow there, Only love forevermore. |
