| Holy Ghost Express |
| I can hear that prayer train coming. The engine's humming soft and low. Its destination is Heaven bound, Where the milk and honey flows. Let's take a ride on that prayer train, Called "The Holy Ghost Express". When we board that Holy Spirit, We'll know that we've been blessed. I can hear that engine whining. The whistle's blowing soft and low. Our Lord's waiting on that prayer train And He wants to save your soul. I heard that engineer shouting, "Everybody climb aboard!" It's slowing down to pick us up. These tracks lead straight to the Lord. Well, the Engineer is Jesus. Can't you hear His beckoned call, Saying, "Come on ride my prayer train, You're welcome one and all"? He's already bought our tickets. His blood has paid the price And these tracks lead straight to Heaven, Where there's Everlasting Life. So, let's climb aboard His prayer train, Called "The Holy Ghost Express". It will take us to His streets of gold, Where we'll all find peace and rest. |
