| In Our Father's Eyes |
|
In Our Father's eyes, we're all the same; No black or white, no ethnic name. He judges not by worldly fame; Of what we own or have attained. He looks inside, for beauty rare, To find good seed He's planted there. And, sent His Son to bear the cross, For every soul, on earth, that's lost. He overlooks the outward skin And searches for the love within. He knows the love He finds, inside, Is neither yellow, black, or white. In Our Father's Eyes, The most important parts Are the colorless souls ~ With the loving hearts. |
