Only When I Breathe

You asked how I've been doing,
Since the day you set me free.
Well, I can't lie. Sometimes, I cry.
I only miss you when I breathe.

And when I breathe,
My tears pour down like rain.
And the more I cry,
The more I go insane.

No, these hands don't shake
And my heart doesn't ache
For the way things used to be.
In fact, it only hurts me when I breathe.

Only when I breathe
Do I recall the love we knew.
That's the only time when
Your memories passing through.

Ever since you've found another
And swore you don't need me,
I only feel my heartbreak
When I breathe.

Sweetheart, you know you're the only man
Who could bring me to my knees
And who could make me cry a river;
When I breathe.
