| The Biggest Mountain |
|
Lord, You've given me a mountain So steep and, oh, so wide. I don't think that I can climb it Without You by my side. But, I know You'll climb it with me And You'll catch me if I fall, Because that heavy cross, You bore For me, was a mountain, after all. Lord, I'll try to remember That my burdens are few, Compared to the suffering That old cross put You through. But, You never complained. You stayed strong for my cause, Even though the load You carried Was a mountain, after all. So, Lord, when I feel I've had all I can take, Just show me that mountain You climbed for my sake. And, remind me that the burdens I must carry are small Compared to Your Cross, Lord; The Biggest Mountain of All. |
| For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time Are not worthy to be compared with the glory, Which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8:18 |
