Honey, you asked how much I love you And you may not realize ... But, can you count the stars above Or, the twinkle in their eyes? You asked me if I need you. Sweetheart, it's hard to say. Can you count the fishes in the ocean? Or, the time that's passed away? Could you count the clouds up in the sky And every drop of rain? Or, every wish that children make And every bus or train? Can you count all the fireflies That flicker in the night? Or, all the birds up in the sky, As they have taken flight? Do you know how often a robin sings? Or, how many butterflies have multicolored wings? Now, you know how much I love you And how much I need you too. I could never count the ways, sweetheart. Just know that "I love you." |
