| You Can't Outrun The Lord |
|
I once met a man who'd Been running from his past. He said the sins, that he'd committed, Were behind him, now, at last. But, this man's soul was lost, my friend, And the sins that he ignored Would all come back to haunt him; Because you can't outrun the Lord. You can't outrun the lightening And you can't outrun the rain. Though, you can try to outrun Satan, When he's calling out your name. But, you can't outrun the Lord, my friend. He knows everything you've done, From when we rise up, in the morning, Until the setting of the sun. So, give your heart and soul to Jesus. Let His grace be your reward. He will hide your sins beneath His shield, Because you can't outrun the Lord. |

I Cor. 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, Who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and Will make manifest the counsels of the hearts, and then Shall every man have praise of God. |
